Indonesia-Japanese Expo

Tired is the right word to describe the trip to J-Expo in Kemayoran Jakarta. It's far from my beyond fantasy of how the great japanese expo, that even the advanced opening held by Indonesia's president 'Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono' himself.

It was start from weeks ago, when the first time I saw an ads about Japan Expo. First thing that draw my attention was the Harajuku Fashion show, Japanese hair and lifestyle, Miku-miku and Para-para dance. Besides, it also got the Martial Art exhibition consist of aikido, iaido, ninjutsu and silat. Then, one of my bestiest also asked me to come along. Yeah, It's settle up my mind.

Then what happen today? My friend late for more than 2 hours. I still ok with it cause i've already count it :p. Then when we arrived there. . . . It was just a small exshibition consist of 2 hall and an open space with an Obaki in it.

The Harajuku Fashion? Not more than just an usual outfit or gaudy make up. Hairstyle? I didn't even see other Japanese hairstyle than me (YUPZ, I am the Harajuku hairstyle fans.) None of the the MA and Dance showed today. And the souvenir? nothing magnificent as I thought japanese things were (cause most of it only Indonesia souvenir).

But, of all, the worst was waiting for the Obaki(Japanese Ghost House) to come into play. I'd asked the official for the time it start (for about 3 times), and all I got only,"please wait, we still have something to prepare and we don't know how long it take." At last we went to have lunch. It need about 40 minutes to queue up for the line and got our food. After eaten, we went back to the Obaki and all we got was the Q already about 100metres long. And of course with the intense sunshine, we don't got our patient anymore and went out to Mal

All I got from 5 hours there was only a Judo's book and a chocobo Fluff doll, SIGH**

Dufan

In order to have holiday after having a week full of training, the jujitsan of untar dojo went to Dufan (dunia fantasi). Gathered at my place, we set out on 8.50am. There, we spent time talking and some of the girls bought hats cause it's sunny.

At 11, the gate opened up. first thing we did is eat our breakfast then we start to play the arcade. When it came to 'arung jeram', we were wringing wet (because of some stupid guy who drench us) and have to carry our wet dresses all day round.

Last, we played the 'bianglala' and got home at 7. Not much to tell from this trip

UK trip - last

1st day - we went to london. It took us 3 and half hours from leeds to destination. Arrived in London, we went to met yuli's family ?(my bros friend who found house for us to stay in there). We took a walk in the zone 7's city then went to china town

2nd day- still in london. the worse day in UK. my bro LOST his digicam AND tomtom(GPS)!!!! at last he bought new GPS to take us home :p. what a day

3rd day- went back to leeds. but before, we visited Stonehenge. Because of the wrong direction my bro gave, it tooks us about 6-7 hours to Leeds.

4th day- went to harewood, her majesty cousin's house. It was really huge and had planetorium, bird park(with pinguins), and even ice house. not mentioned her own castle.

5th day- went to harewood (old fashioned town with a lot of flowers and park) then shopping at outlets. At nite, we went to casino and I win a lot (30 pounds)

6th day- went to city 4 shopping then went to casino again. Today i only win about 5 pounds

7th day- going home. but before, we visited MU club again for a stadium tour. but too bad, its full already. At last we spent about 4 hours more in the airport.

That the last of my summer vacation to UK. Hope dat I get more tale to tell about another countries :p_

-Stonehenge-

30 june, after journey to london, before going back to leeds, i visited stonehenge. It was about one and half hour from london to Wiltshire (the contry of Stonehenge). There me, my dad, my brother and cousin enter the ancient prehistoric monument for £6 per person. There, we were given a small radio to heard the history of Stonehenge.

archaelogists believe that long ago (3000 B.C.) it was a town surrounded by forest and earth bank. It was erupted 2200 BC. The site we see now only consist of small amount of the stone. People used to steal the stone for their own goods like making roads and houses and even souvenir.

Stonehenge also served as burial ground at earliest beginnings. What still make it a mystery until now is where were the stones from. It consist of 82 bluestones weights about 4 tonnes taken from about 240 miles west of Amesbury. Not to mention other kinds of stones.

There're some legend about this site too. It was said that in this ancient site, King Arthur's sword the 'Excalibur' was first founded.

UK Trip - first week

I went to UK to visit my brother in order of his 'master' graduation. Here, its totally different with my contry(indonesia).

first day- 19th july, we (me, my mom n dad, my sec brother and my cousin) used emirate airlines going to UK. We stoped in singapore(1 hour) and Dubai(2 hours) for planes transfer. Total estimate time from jakarta to manchester(UK) took about 17 hours. it's fun in the plane but after all i got a little jet lag. imagine flying 17 hours, all u can do are sleep, eat and given a little entertainment(movies and games). it scare me to think i must take the plane back to jakarta again.

second day- arrive at manchester. it's cold here although it is summer. from here, it took us 45 minutes to go to leeds, where we are going to spent our weeks in UK.

third day- going around the city. It's a big sale, but for me, it still too expensive to afford. this day and the fourth, we ate dim sum and peking duck in chinese restoran in d city.

fourth day- my bro's graduation. at noon we ate in a Middle west restoran called A'kbar. it got a really big naan (indian's bread)

fifth day- got a car and go to manchester, we visit Old trafford (MU home) and shopping in the city. ( got a esprit and FCUK dreeses here :p)

6th day- went to liverpool to visit anfield (liverpool FC. home) and alberts dock. Here we visited titanic museum. it's nice here but there were many dogs pup T.T

7th day- went to YORK. it has the biggest church in UK. then we visit harry potter's syuting place (Diagon Alley). at last we went to FO (factory outlate) which got some branded stuff and really cheap price.

That's the first week of my trip in UK. Next week get to tell u more ^^v
